DAY TO DAY BENEFITS

Why Truganina Homeowners Choose Roller Shutters

Melbourne’s west gets harsh sun, strong winds and heavy rain. Here is what a shutter changes once it is on your home.

STEEL

Lock Down the Whole Opening

Closed shutters cover the full window or door with interlocking aluminium slats on a steel axle. A physical barrier, not a sticker on the glass.

90%

Cooler Summers, Warmer Winters

Foam inside every slat slows heat moving through the glass, cutting thermal transfer by up to 90% so your heating and cooling work less.

3-10DB

Quieter Rooms, Full Blockout

Double walled slats take the edge off traffic noise, and closing them fully gives complete blockout for shift workers and nurseries.

Motors and Smart Control

Every Truganina install includes an Australian made HELIX motor with a 5 year warranty. Upgrade to Somfy, Cherubini or Moto, add a 12V battery so shutters still run during a blackout, or add a WiFi hub to control them through Apple HomeKit, Google Home or Alexa.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had roller shutters installed on all the windows on my house & 2 new security doors. They are one of the best investments I have made on my house, I have noticed they help keep the heat inside a lot more then before I had them installed and my family feel a lot safer now with the added security. They look fantastic and the installation is very professional.

The only regret I have with this is the fact that I didn’t have it done sooner!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After having a security door installed by Optimal Shutters, I was extremely impressed with the quality of both the product and the workmanship. The price was also highly competitive, coming in well below the five other quotes I received from different companies. I couldn’t be happier with the value and service and would highly recommend Optimal Shutters to anyone looking for quality security doors.
